Professional responsibility

Certify Mobile is a certificate creation tool. It does not inspect installations, verify compliance, replace professional judgement, or guarantee that an installation complies with BS 7671 or any other legal or regulatory requirement.

Competent use

Users are responsible for the accuracy of inspection details, test results, observations, classifications, signatures, and certificates created in the app. Users must ensure each certificate or report is suitable for the work carried out, current regulations, scheme provider requirements, and the client or job circumstances.

Recognised formats

Certify Mobile may be based on recognised electrical certificate formats and examples, but it is not endorsed by or affiliated with the IET, NICEIC, NAPIT, ECA, or any certification body unless expressly stated.

AI and beta features

AI features and beta workflows can make mistakes. They must be checked by a competent person before any details are used on a certificate, report, letter, or exported document.

False or misleading certificates

Users must not use the app to create false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent certificates or reports.
